VIRGINIA’S 11th ANNUAL FLY FISHING FESTIVAL
Don't let this fish get away! The 12th annual Virginia Fly Fishing Festival will be held on April 21 and 22, 2012. The Festival, held on the South River in Virginia’s ”River City”, Waynesboro, is the largest event of its kind in the country and attracts fly anglers from across the United States and the Mid-Atlantic in particular. Nowhere else can anglers learn about the quiet sport in such a beginner-friendly environment—and on the banks of a real trout stream, no less!
The package for this Festival is a two-night stay in our B&B located only 6 blocks from the site, for $200.00. Spend the night in one of our well appointed bedrooms and wake up to a bountiful breakfast in our dining room. Then spend an exciting day on the river. If your significant other is not up to the fishing, there are lots of antiquing opportunities, wineries, and historic sites in the area for their enjoyment.
Come meet and learn from nationally known fly fishing experts, tiers, guides and outfitters who will speak and hold demonstrations. The Festival is your one-stop shop for gear, expert advice and instruction. Wine-tasting and live music shows are also on site.
