GUEST ROOMS
Our
guest rooms are centrally air-conditioned for your comfort and each is uniquely decorated
to fit the period of the house with modern comforts including
private baths with toiletries, blow dryers, robes and slippers,
wireless internet, cable TV and clock radios with CD players.
Guest Amenities
The
Inn features a secluded swimming pool, tranquil indoor/outdoor porch
settings where guests can relax and enjoy the views of our gardens and the many varieties of visiting birds. The upstairs
enclosed snack porch is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, complimentary
beverages, popcorn, and snacks which are always available.
BREAKFAST
After
a restful night's sleep join us for breakfast in our gracious dining
room where the table will be set with silver and china in front of the
fireplace. You will enjoy the seasonal selections of Virginia and the
Shenandoah Valley. Starters include fresh fruit, homemade granola,
yogurt and juices. Entrees will include specialty egg dishes, french
toast or blueberry pancakes with a side of breakfast meat. If you want
to opt out of the traditional sit-down breakfast, we will be happy to
deliver, to your room, a continental breakfast basket. We do
accommodate special needs, vegetarian, gluten-, sugar- and lactose-free
diets. You must mention these special needs when you make your
reservation.
A 10% discount will apply to senior citizens and active duty military personnel, with valid ID.
RESERVATION/CANCELLATION POLICY
A
credit card number is required to confirm a reservation. Cancellations
made within 7 days of arrival will result in a one night’s room rental
charge being processed against the credit card as a cancellation fee.“No shows” (no call or email to cancel) will be charged the full amount
of the reserved stay (1 night, 2 nights, etc.). We are sorry, but due
to our limited number of rooms and the cost of preparing for your
visit, we must adhere strictly to this policy unless the room can be
re-booked.
All weekends in May and October, and 3-day holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.) require a 2-night minimum stay.
Cash, personal and traveler’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express accepted as payment.
An 11% state and local tax is added to the room rate.
Check-in is from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Check-out is 11:00 am. Arrangements can be made with the Innkeepers for late arrivals.
Children over the age of 8 are welcome.
For the comfort of ALL guests, no smoking is permitted inside the Inn. Smoking is permitted in outside areas.
Sorry, we love them too, but no pets are permitted at the Inn. We will provide contacts for local pet boarding if desired.
